Carter Dougherty.jpeg

Carter Dockerty is just a kid from Akron, Ohio who started comedy in 2019 at Funny Stop Comedy Club. Winner of Funniest in Cincinnati 2022, Carter was an emcee and feature act at Go Bananas Comedy Club while he attended Miami University. He then made his way to Chicago where he became a regular at Zanies and Laugh Factory and began touring with Jordan Jensen. Carter is an awkward 24 year old who is just trying to figure it all out. His comedy consists of talking about his dick and his opinions. And most of his opinions are about his dick.

John Brown 2.jpeg

John Brown hails from Akron, Ohio and has a laid back delivery, combining observational humor with story telling and a touch of his herb-induced daydreams. John has won best of fest awards at Rubber City Comedy Festival (2024), Cleveland Comedy Festival (2023), and was a finalist at the Loons On The Lake Comedy Festival (2023). He went from his first open mic to headlining at Funny Stop Comedy Club and is a regular feature/host at the famous Hilarities in Cleveland. John has opened for comedians such as George Wallace, Zoltan Kazsas, and Brooks Wheelan. This up and coming rust belt comedian is one that you don’t want to miss and will surely be telling your friends at work about the next day.

WHO IS SECRET SOCIETY COMEDY?

Bryan Headshot.jpeg

Bryan Sternik is the maestro of mishaps and the sultan of silliness! Half Puerto Rican and half Polish, this meeting of diverse backgrounds makes Bryan's life reads like a script from a sitcom. With a talent for turning everyday blunders into belly laughs, he's the undisputed champion of charming chaos. Whether he's tripping over his own shoelaces or mistaking a potted plant for a new coworker, Bryan Sternik is a one-man show you didn't know you needed in your life until the middle of his performances, whether you see him at a comedy club, on a tour bus, or at a bowling alley.

With a last name like that, Cleveland-based comic David Horning learned at a young age to lean into what bothers him using humor, and his comedy is a reflection of this. His optimistic slant on both mundane and heavy topics has gotten him selected to the New York Comedy Festival, Laughing Devil Comedy Festival, the Cleveland Comedy Festival, and on stages around the country. On top of stand-up, David regularly appears on conference stages as keynote speaker and teaches the leadership value of Thinking Like A Comedian to managers and executive teams across industries. He is a co-founder of Secret Society Comedy, a pop-up comedy club bringing the best up-and-coming comedians from around the country to Northeast Ohio.
