Eeland Stribling — your aunty’s favorite stand-up comedian — recently moved to New York after rising through the Denver comedy scene.
He is the winner of the 2025 Don’t Tell Comedy Competition and a 2023 & 2024 New Faces selection at Comedy Works. Eeland tours nationally and has performed in cities including Boston, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, and Austin, as well as festivals such as Laughing Skull, High Plains, 10K Laughs, Limestone, Flyover, Alaska Comedy Festival, and more.
Outside of comedy, Eeland is also a wildlife biologist and environmental educator. He’s been affectionately called the “Black Steve Irwin” and was featured on PBS’s Roots of Comedy with Jesus Trejo. He combines both passions in his hit series Comedians on the Fly, where he takes fellow comedians fly fishing while swapping stories, tangling lines, and occasionally catching a fish.
Don’t be fooled by his grumpy demeanor — Eeland’s got a heart of gold under all the sarcasm, and he’ll make sure you leave with a belly full of laughs, an animal fact, and a fresh take on everything from politics to penguins.
Raised in the non-famous parts of Louisiana, Lou Pharis never thought he’d be anything more than an NFL caliber offensive lineman. After failing to go pro and then losing out on American Ninja Warrior, Lou turned his talents to stand-up. His viral videos on teaching and marriage have since garnered over 100 million views on social media, and he has headlined comedy clubs such as Zanies, Comedy Works, and Wiseguys.
Prateek Srivastava is a globally touring headlining comedian originally from Chicago now living in LA. His Comedy Album “Nick and Sheila’s Kid” debuted #1 on iTunes and Amazon Best Seller List. He was recently awarded Best of Fest at the Cleveland Comedy Festival and Rubber City Comedy Festival. Prateek’s comedy has been featured at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, SF Sketchfest, Limestone Comedy Festival, NPR, Amazon Prime, and Cannes Independent. When he’s not slinging jokes he has appeared on sketch shows at Second City, Improv Olympic, the Den Theater and showcased for NBC and the United States Embassy. He thanks you for reading his bio and for not realizing he’s speaking in the 3rd person right now!
WHO IS SECRET SOCIETY COMEDY?
We are a nomad comedy club, popping up at different venues around Northeast Ohio every weekend. Featuring local favorites, nationally touring headliners, and more, our mission is to get you in on the best-kept secrets in stand-up comedy. You never know who you'll see...

Bryan Sternik is the maestro of mishaps and the sultan of silliness! Half Puerto Rican and half Polish, this meeting of diverse backgrounds makes Bryan's life reads like a script from a sitcom. With a talent for turning everyday blunders into belly laughs, he's the undisputed champion of charming chaos. Whether he's tripping over his own shoelaces or mistaking a potted plant for a new coworker, Bryan Sternik is a one-man show you didn't know you needed in your life until the middle of his performances, whether you see him at a comedy club, on a tour bus, or at a bowling alley.(This bio was NOT written by AI.)

With a last name like that, Cleveland-based comic David Horning learned at a young age to lean into what bothers him using humor, and his comedy is a reflection of this. His optimistic slant on both mundane and heavy topics has gotten him selected to the New York Comedy Festival, Laughing Devil Comedy Festival, the Cleveland Comedy Festival, and on stages around the country. On top of stand-up, David regularly appears on conference stages as keynote speaker, teaching the value of humor in business to managers and executive teams across industries. He also produces Secret Society Comedy, a pop-up comedy club bringing the best up-and-coming comedians from around the country to Northeast Ohio.
